Directors Karl and Matthew and members of the civil team have been involved with the Northwood subdivision project since 2004. Development Nous became the main consultant in 2016 and completion the final stages of the project late 2019, being the remaining 60 residential lots.

Northwood was a large greenfield subdivision covering approximately 21ha on the urban fringe of Hastings. Over the last fifteen years the development has provided Hastings with a range of real estate options to accommodate a wide variety of house sizes and styles for the growing Hawkes Bay population.

Professional services undertaken by Development Nous over the last four years of the project included planning, survey set out, UAV mapping and photography, civil design and construction services, environmental consultation including soil testing, reporting and remediation, as well as project management.
