Graceland’s Care Centre is a rest home and care facility located at 730 and 734 Pakowhai Road, Hastings and includes a number of care facilities and private dwellings for retirees. In 2019 Development Nous was tasked by Alexander Construction to undertake building set-out for the expansion of the private residential buildings on the northern and eastern perimeter of the property. 

Survey discipline tasks included:

- Initial survey control and building calculations for set-out purposes

- Establishing a control network through the site for total station work

- Setting out for the profile boards

- Setting out the building and gridlines for the building

- Certifying the set-out locations for Council approval
