Chris has 15 years professional experience since graduating with a Bachelor of Surveying from the University of Otago. He has worked in both small consultancies and one of the largest in New Zealand. His career has taken him overseas where he gained invaluable experience of the survey industry abroad. He has worked on a variety of projects ranging from small subdivisions to large scale roading and rail projects as well as hydrographic surveying.

Chris’s roles over the years have included job management regarding pricing for tendering, job preparation, logistics, pre-calculations, invoicing, liaising with authorities, clients, consultants, and site personnel. He is proficient in his role at undertaking field work, post processing, field calculations and producing deliverables to the client.

Chris is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with Development Nous. As a senior staff member Chris is involved in all levels of the Survey department and provides a role supervising graduates and technicians in verifying their work and ensuring their growth.
